Bad company corrupts good character - 1...
Surround yourself with good people: people of high character and high intellect, people with ambition and a strong sense of purpose. Spend time with people who have their priorities straight and who know where they’re going in life. If you can’t find any of those types of people, then learn to occupy your own time.
Pain— you just have to fight through it. Because the truth is, you...

Scratching one activity off my bucket list
Last night, I attended my first Capoeira class in Greenhills, along with my friend, May. She and I have been wanting to try it since we saw Escola Brasiliera de Capoeira (EBC) perform at Planet Zips’ SpinDependence event last August. Their performance was just breath-taking :)
So what is Capoeira, you may ask? It is a mixture of body and soul, of dance and fight, of instruments and...

Cheers to another year with mi loves :)
Yesterday, I received a text message from my dad saying that USCIS finally mailed my re-entry permit. Yes, people, I get to stay here for one more year. I get to stay in a place I call home. I get to be with my friends, still, and yep, I get to have 12 more months to prepare myself financially, emotionally, and spiritually. Seriously, what could be better than that?
Just last week, he saved me...

Today is a reminder that God will always come through for his children, no matter what the situation or circumstance may be. He will NEVER leave our side, even if we are disobedient or just plain stubborn. He will always guide us to the right path and will never fail us. How do I know this for sure? Because today, I almost died.
This weekend, my ever so fearless friend and hali love—Macy, invited...
16th French Film Festival
Two words: FREE.ADMISSION :P
Last night, I watched “Les Marquis” in Shangri-la Mall with two of my VG friends. Initially, I thought it would be one of those weird foreign films with horrible subtitles, but was actually surprised at how funny the film turned out. Most of the scenes were shot in Cebu and although our very own Joel Torre sounded a bit “barok”, seeing familiar...
